Blowing fuses

Hey I have a question my 87 keeps blowing fuses more like one fuse the
illuminate fuse 10A , you know I would not mind the dash being out
but its hard wired to the running lights too . I don't do electrical work ;
sure I do engine work but toying around with
the fuse box :crossedwires: i need some input here

fuses generally blow because:
1) bad ground/short
2) positive/negative criss-crossed
3) too much power going through them

Is the fuse blowing all the time or only when is raining?

check your radio connections if you have a after martket one could be shorting out or check your cig lighter and make sure nothing is in there shorting it out.

I did have aftermarket radio put in ; hmmm yes ! the cig lighter would cause it to blow , so I ripped it out all together ; two wires taped now :cheetos: any way i'm doing a 90% rip out for the inside so every thing is coming out
